Every shot of both GTA 6 trailers

88 shots, pulled from Rockstar's own 2160p masters by scene detection and captioned by what is legible in them. Every frame has a permanent link, and every frame links back to the exact second of the official video so you can check it yourself.

How this was made

Rockstar publishes both trailers at 2160p. Each one was run through ffmpeg scene detection, which finds the cuts, and one frame was taken from the midpoint of every shot it found. Midpoint rather than first frame on purpose: the first frame of a shot is usually still resolving from the cut before it, and a mid-shot frame is the one a person would have paused on.

The images are our crops of Rockstar's footage with the letterbox removed, credited to Rockstar, which is the same basis as every other image on this site. Captions describe what is legible in the frame and stop there. Where a model name or a place name appears it is because it is readable on screen, or because a named outlet identified it and the caption says so.

Reading the frames is also how we found the highway signs naming VCI Airport, Southside and Peacock Bay, and how the vehicle database got most of its photographs.
