About this section
Side activities are what separate a Rockstar game from an open world with missions in it, and Grand Theft Auto 6 has more of them confirmed than any entry since San Andreas.
Some are shown outright in official material: a reef with a diver working along it, Lucia lifting weights, a kayak on a river at sunrise, men with rifles in the pines. Others come from reporting on the Extended Look, and those pages say so rather than blending the two.
The one that keeps surprising people is the return of the San Andreas body system. What you eat changes how Jason and Lucia look, and skipping the gym costs muscle. Rockstar dropped that mechanic in 2004 because it is expensive, and has now built it for two protagonists rather than one.
