Every GTA 6 activity confirmed so far
Fishing you cannot profit from, diving with an air supply, and the San Andreas gym system coming back after twenty-two years.

Side activities are what separate a Rockstar game from an open world with missions in it, and Grand Theft Auto 6 has more of them confirmed than any entry since San Andreas.
The ones shown outright
[Scuba diving](/wiki/activities/scuba-diving) is the standout. An oxygen meter replaces the stamina bar underwater, which sounds minor and is not. In Grand Theft Auto V the seabed was governed by the same bar as sprinting, making depth a timer. A dedicated air supply turns it into a place you plan to visit. The official Keys screenshot shows a full reef with a turtle and a diver working along it.
[The gym and diet system](/wiki/activities/gym-and-diet) is back from San Andreas. What you eat changes how Jason and Lucia look, and skipping the gym costs muscle. Rockstar dropped that mechanic in 2004 because it is expensive to build, and has now built it for two protagonists rather than one.
[Kayaking](/wiki/activities/kayaking) appears in the Extended Look and is reported as playable by both leads together, which makes it time spent as a couple rather than a job.

Fishing, with a strange rule
[Fishing](/wiki/activities/fishing) is reported as being about as deep as Red Dead Redemption 2's, with one twist: catch and release. You cannot keep a fish or sell one.
That reads as a limitation and is probably the opposite. Red Dead's fishing was an economy, which turned a good spot into a grind. Removing the payout leaves fishing as something you do because you are on a boat and the sun is going down. It is also how a very large amount of real Florida sport fishing actually works.
The rest
- [Hunting](/wiki/activities/hunting), with rifles shown in the Mount Kalaga pines and alligators on an airboat deck in Grassrivers
- [Basketball, golf, pool and off-road riding](/wiki/activities/sports-and-minigames), including the Thrillbilly Mud Club first shown back in trailer one
- [Nightlife](/wiki/activities/nightlife): clubs, bars, dancing, and venues that are part of the story rather than scenery
- [Underground fighting](/wiki/activities/underground-fighting), which is reported everywhere and shown nowhere
How much of this is confirmed
It splits. The diving, the gym, the kayak and the hunting are visible in official material. The mechanical detail around them, including catch and release and the oxygen meter, comes from reporting on the Extended Look rather than from Rockstar.
Our activities section marks which is which on every page, because the difference matters and most lists in circulation do not draw it.
