Three pieces of official footage exist, released across nearly three years, and almost everything anybody knows about Grand Theft Auto 6 comes from them.
Trailer 1 in December 2023 set the tone and the setting. Trailer 2 in May 2025 introduced the cast and widened the map. The Extended Look in August 2026 was the first time anybody saw the game actually work, and it is the source for nearly every mechanics page on this site.
