A Miami TikToker says filming GTA 6's beach chairs got him fired
Graham Simmon posted a video of Vice City umbrellas, chairs and cabanas on a Miami beach. It barely got any views. Then everyone else reposted it.

Earlier this month a video started doing the rounds of a Miami beach being kitted out for GTA 6: Vice City umbrellas, branded chairs, the lot. The guy who filmed it says it cost him his job.
His name's Graham Simmon, and he posted the original on TikTok. In his words it was "all the chairs, umbrellas, cabanas", basically an unboxing of the beach setup before it went out. The post had fewer than a thousand views.
He says he was told to take it down, and he did. By then it didn't matter. Other people had grabbed it and it was all over TikTok, Instagram and X.
The company he was working for "didn't like that", he says, and let him go. He's pretty relaxed about it. He told followers he was new, nobody had told him he couldn't film the gear, and he isn't blaming them. He called it his fault and "a funny story". His summary: "So yeah, basically GTA 6 cost me my job."

He hasn't named the company, and Rockstar hasn't said anything about it. You'll see a few sites calling it a $4 million ad campaign. We couldn't find where that number comes from, so we're leaving it out.
None of this is a leak of the game, by the way. It's beach furniture with a logo on it, and it'll be out in public anyway. It's the latest piece of a Miami campaign that's been getting bigger all month, after the GTA-liveried cars and the county's own deal talks.
