Pißwasser, Patriot and a new Vice City lager just got real US beer labels
A brewery just outside Miami had three GTA beers approved by the federal alcohol bureau. Nobody's announced them, and approval doesn't mean they're on sale.

GTA's fake beers might be about to stop being fake. Three GTA-branded beer labels have been approved by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, the federal agency that signs off every beer label in the country.
Two are old favourites. Pißwasser, the German-ish lager that's been in the series since GTA 4, and Patriot, the very American one. The third is new: No Mames Vice City, a 6% lager with a dog in sunglasses and a gold Vice City chain on a pink and purple sunset.
Who's behind it
The labels were filed by Tripping Animals Brewing, which is based in Doral, Florida, just outside Miami. According to the records, Pißwasser was approved on 29 September, No Mames Vice City on 9 October and Patriot on 15 October. iGrandTheftAuto spotted them first.

Can you buy one?
The name's the giveaway that this is a Vice City thing. "No mames" is Mexican Spanish slang, roughly "no way" or "you're kidding", and you hear it all over South Florida. Dexerto describes the label as carrying GTA VI branding front and centre, so it's not trying to be subtle.
The TTB's label records are public, which is how these turned up. Anyone can search them, and fans have got into the habit of checking for anything with a GTA name on it, the same way people watch trademark filings.
Not yet, and maybe not at all. An approved label just means the design's cleared to go on a can. It doesn't mean there's a release date, and every state has its own rules on top. Neither Rockstar nor the brewery has announced anything.
Given where the brewery is, and that GTA fast food is already being served at the Heat's arena, our guess is that if these show up anywhere, it'll be Miami first.
If they do go on sale, we'll put where to get them on the site. And if you're in Florida and spot a can of Pißwasser in a fridge before we do, send us a photo. We'd genuinely like to know what it tastes like.
