Every GTA 6 vehicle identified so far, and how sure anyone actually is
Ninety-two vehicles, split four ways by how firmly each one is known. Fourteen have names from Rockstar. None of them come from a leaked spreadsheet.

Method: both trailer masters scene-detected, 24 of the vehicle photographs here cut from those frames.
There is no official Grand Theft Auto 6 vehicle list, and there will probably not be one before release. What exists is what people have identified by freezing official footage, which is why the circulating counts disagree with each other by seventy or more.
We keep a vehicle database rather than a list, because the difference between the entries matters more than the total. It currently holds 92 vehicles, and every one of them is filed under how firmly it is known rather than mixed into one number.
The four tiers, and why they exist
| Tier | What it means | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Named | Rockstar gave the model a name in its own material | 14 |
| Sighted | Clearly visible in official media, model name not confirmed | 39 |
| Reported | A named outlet identified it from official footage | 39 |
| Rumour | Only a leak claims it, and we say who reported the leak | 0 |
Blending those four together is exactly how the circulating lists end up wrong. A car Rockstar has photographed, badged and told you where it is parked is not the same kind of fact as a silhouette three streets back in a trailer, and a spreadsheet that prints both in the same font is lying to you by layout.
The Rumour column is empty on purpose. We have not published a single vehicle that exists only in a leaked list.
The fourteen Rockstar has actually named
Every one of these comes from the studio's own Ultimate Edition or pre-order copy, with a manufacturer, usually a model year, and in several cases the exact garage it is parked in.
| Vehicle | Class | Where Rockstar says it is |
|---|---|---|
| '95 Grotti Cheetah | Sports | Not stated |
| '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy | Off-road | Paradise Garage, Watson Bay |
| '55 Vapid Stanier | Classic sedan | Shore Court garage, near Ocean Beach |
| Vapid Ganado | Coupe utility | Jason's safehouse |
| Shitzu Squalo | Watercraft | Docked at Washington Beach |
| Dinka Enduro | Motorcycle | Jason's safehouse |
| Canis One-Eyed Willie | Off-road | Named, otherwise unexplained |
| Principe Alvino V1 | Motorcycle | Jason's own bike |
Plus the Crest Kayak, the Deviant and the rest of the Wyman collection, which Rockstar photographed as a yard of classics.
Notice what they have in common. Every single one is an edition bonus or a pre-order item. Rockstar has named no vehicle that is simply in the base game, which tells you these names exist because marketing needed them rather than because the studio has started publishing a list.
Where the pictures come from
Forty-eight of the 92 entries carry a photograph, and this is the part worth explaining, because most vehicle lists illustrate themselves with somebody else's screenshots.
Ours are either Rockstar press stills or frames we pulled from Rockstar's own trailer masters and cropped. The method is dull and repeatable: download the official trailer, scene-detect it, extract one frame per shot, read the contact sheet, then cut the car out of the frame. The vehicle crops on this page were cut from the 1080p masters; the frame browser was re-cut from the 2160p ones on 16 September and these have not caught up yet.
That turned out to be a better source than the press pack. The press stills are composed around characters, so the cars in them are wherever the art director left them. Trailer 1 is 43 shots and Trailer 2 is 47, and between them they are four and a half minutes of a working city full of traffic nobody was pointing a camera at.

Where the community count comes from
Trackers put the figure between roughly 198 and 272, and the gap is almost entirely a question of what counts. A car clearly in focus in a screenshot is a confirmation. A silhouette in a trailer at 24 frames per second is somebody's opinion, and different databases draw that line in different places.
There are also large spreadsheets circulating with hundreds of names on them, usually presented as datamined. Most of them are not leaks. They are fan compilation: names read off freeze-frames, plus every vehicle in Grand Theft Auto Online that somebody assumes will carry forward, assembled into a table and captioned as though it came out of the game files.
Some individual entries in those lists will turn out to be right. That is not the same as the list being right, and there is no way to tell which is which by looking at it.
The manufacturers are the reliable part
Rockstar's in-universe marques have been stable for twenty years and each maps onto a real maker closely enough to predict what a new model will be. If you see a Bravado badge you are looking at a Dodge. Grotti is Ferrari, Pfister is Porsche, Vapid is Ford, Declasse is Chevrolet, Dinka is Honda, Canis is Jeep.
That is genuinely useful when a car is half visible. You do not need the model name to know what kind of car it is, and it is a much safer inference than reading a badge off six blurry pixels.
What is still unknown
Whether customisation goes beyond what Rideout Customs shows. Whether fuel and vehicle condition, both described in leaked builds, are real systems. How many vehicles are actually drivable rather than traffic. And the total, which Rockstar has never published and probably will not until people are playing.
The full database is here, filterable by class, manufacturer and confidence tier.
