GTA 6 launches 19 November 2026, at midnight in your own timezone
The date is locked, the rollout is simultaneous worldwide, and it is PS5 and Xbox Series X and S only.
Grand Theft Auto 6 releases on Thursday 19 November 2026. Rockstar is unlocking it at midnight local time rather than staggering it by region, so the game opens at the same moment on your clock as it does on everyone else's.
It launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. There is still no announced PC version, which follows the pattern of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which arrived on console first and on PC considerably later.
The date has moved before
This is not the first date attached to the game, and the delays have been the defining story of the last two years of GTA 6 coverage. What is different now is how close it is: the marketing beats, the pre-order pages and the price are all public, which is not something Rockstar does for a date it intends to move again.
