Weapons shown so far

Rockstar has published no weapon list. What exists is what people have identified in trailers, screenshots and the Extended Look.

There is no official weapon list for Grand Theft Auto 6 and there is unlikely to be one before release. Everything in circulation has been identified by people freezing official footage, which means the reliable parts are the things visible in a still and the unreliable parts are everything else.

What is clearly visible

  • A semi-automatic pistol carried by Lucia in the check cashing screenshot, with tape around the grip, a sticker on the body and a scuffed slide. See weapon condition.
  • A gold-plated rifle held by Raymond during the Extended Look's opening phone call, shown alongside the grills, chains and diamond earrings that the same sequence uses to establish him.
  • Sidearms carried openly by both leads in several of the official screenshots, including the elevator shot.
  • Police long guns and helicopters across the Grassrivers and pursuit imagery.

What people are claiming that is not visible

Trailer analysis rounds have produced confident claims about dual wielding, specific real-world weapon models and attachment systems. Very little of that survives a look at the actual frame. A weapon held at an angle in one hand for four frames is not a confirmed mechanic, and a silhouette is not a model identification.

We list a weapon here when it is legible in an official image or when whoever spotted it is named. That is a slower list than the ones circulating, and it is a list that will not need correcting later.

What the systems tell you

More is knowable from the mechanics than from the models. Larger weapons travel in your vehicle rather than on your body, which means the game distinguishes between what you can conceal and what you cannot. Focus marks limbs separately from lethal zones, which means the shooting model cares where a round lands. Both of those say more about how weapons will feel than any list of names.
